Parasite Formula

Ingredients:

• Quisqualis indica
• Torreya grandis
• Arecha catechu
• Dryopteris crassirhizoma
• Cucurbita moschata (Pumpkin seeds)
• Allium sativum (Garlic)

Indications: PARA-X is used as a general parasite cleaner.

Dosage: Give 30cc to 50cc for five days, stop for five days and then give 30cc to 50cc for another five days. Repeat every three (3) months.

Probiotic and Digestive Tract Formula

Ingredients

• Lactobacillus acidophilus
• Bifidobacterium bifidus

• Lactobacillus brevis
• Bifidobacterium lognum
• FOS (Fructo-oligosaccharides)

• Slippery Elm

• Brewer's Yeast
• Citrus bioflavanoids
• Protease
• Amylase
• Cellulase

Indications: Biotic 8 is used to change the bacteria flora in the large intestine and also to promote good digestion and intestinal health, thereby preventing colic. There are eight different types of good bacteria, thus ensuring a balanced approach to changing the bacterial flora. Each of these has been shown to help prevent the growth of the bad bacteria whose waste may cause chronic health problems.

Dosage: Give two scoops with feed daily.

CAUTION: Not recommended for mares in foal.

ULCERS in Horses

Product: GastraFx and GastraFx

Program:

1. Feed your horse a high fat, high fiber, low starch diet.
2. Give your horse 1oz of salt in each feeding for a minimum of 2 ½ - 3oz daily.
3. Provide free access to water and never let your horse run out of hay.

GastraFx: 50cc three times daily.
Biotic 8: 1 scoop in feed morning and night
The length of treatment will depend on the horse.
You will see a positive response within ten day to two weeks.

Minimum length of treatment for GastraFx is 25 days.

Biotic 8: should be given forever but at a reduced rate as low as ½ scoops daily.
In times of stress, worming, inoculations, antibiotic treatments etc, return to a higher dosage.

Diet is probably the most important factor in ulcer treatment.
Lack of roughage intake is the biggest problem in creating ulcers in horses.
Pay attention to the diet.
