Equine 3 Product Lung Formula
Ingredients:
- Eriobotryae Japonica(Expectorant)
- Bulbus Fritillaria Thunbergii(Cough Suppressant,Bronchodilator)
- Polygala Tenuifolia(Expectorant, Anti-inflammatory for Pharyngitis)
- Momordica Grosvenori(Expectorant, cough suppressant*
- *L-Glutamine)
- Rosemary (Shown to increase blood flow in capillaries especially significant for lungs because of their great amount of capillaries. Stimulating blood flow in lung capillaries will help remove stagnant toxins from the lung into the general circulation where it can be diluted, detoxified and eliminated)
- Scutellaria Biacalensis (Used to treat respiratory conditions, especially infections of the upper respiratory tract. Helps support the lungs and aids in drainage.)
- Momordica Grosvenori (Stimulates the activity of the lung macrophages, thus helping to clear and drain cellular debris trapped in the lung tissue.)
- Honeysuckle (As an expectorant, it is useful for dislodging phlegm and thereby aids drainage of the lungs.)
- Chrysanthemum Morifolium (Functions as an expectorant and is an anti-bacterial agent)
- Morus Alba (Functions as an expectorant and supports lung tissue.)
- Eucalyptus Leaves (Bronchodilator)
- Peppermint (Stimulates the opening of the airways Bronchioles)
- Mullein (Relieves Bronchospasms, clears mucus and aids breathing.)
- Pleurissy Root (Helps clear the airways of mucus, improves breathing, eases inflammation in the chest.)
- Elecampane (Clears mucus, improves breathing.)
- Nettles (Anti-histamine action, helps alleviate allergic symptoms.)
- Menthol (Potent bronchodilator)
Indications: RESPI-FREE is a convenient combination of our 3 lung formula products, Airwaves (Bronchodilator formula), Lung Flush (Lung Cleansing and mucus suppressant formula) and HerbaCoff (cough suppressant formula).
Dosage: Give 60cc daily and 90cc pre-event.
Or use as directed by your veterinarian.
Treating C.O.P.D.
Dosage: 30cc three times daily via an oral dosing syringe for a maximum of ten days.
Reduce to 30cc twice daily for an additional ten days.
Reduce to 30cc once daily.
If the horse is not responding, increase dosages to 50cc.
Certain conditions such as high humidity, environmental conditions etc may necessitate higher dosages for short periods of time.
The horse should be given a maintenance dosage continually even though the symptoms may subside.
If you are exercising the horse, give one dose approximately one ½ hour prior to exercise.
Caution: If exercise takes place in a dusty environment DO NOT administer prior to exercise.
Respi-Free and products like it, effectively open the (bronchioles) to permit better breathing.
In a dusty environment it will also allow dust to penetrate further into the lungs and can actually make conditions worse.
